Gulabi Puvvulu – From Chittamma’s Kitchen
Ah, my dear, Gulabi Puvvulu are as pretty as their name — rosy little flowers of sweetness! Made from rice flour, a hint of sugar, and fried gently till golden, they’re then dipped in fragrant sugar syrup that gives them their beautiful pink glow.
In the old days, we made them for special occasions and shared them with neighbors and family. Each petal-shaped bite is crisp, sweet, and filled with the love and warmth of Chittamma’s kitchen.
